This work described in this open PhD opportunity from OceanICU partner AWI will be of great interest to OceanICU as it will help inform how the global carbon process works.
PhD position on “Southern Ocean Carbon Cycle Response to Antarctic Meltwater”. This is a modelling project: the selected candidate will run and analyze simulations with an Earth System Model and with a high-resolution ocean biogeochemistry model.

Interviews are foreseen to take place between 04th and 08th September 2023. The position is based at the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar- and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany.
