Maria is an Environmental Communication Specialist with an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Anthropology from Goldsmiths University of London. Maria has contributed to communications and social media initiatives with organizations such as FAO, UNHCR, SIWI, UN-Water, and the EU Commission. Maria is thrilled to be part of the OceanICU team as a Junior Communications and Outreach Officer working on WP1 with a focus on social media.
