Bianca is a postdoctoral researcher. Within the OceanICU project, she is focussing on combining imaging and sediment trap data with machine learning approaches to investigate how environmental factors influence the composition, size and vertical flux of particles in the ocean. She completed her Master’s degree at James Cook University in Australia, and earned her PhD in coral reef ecology and biogeochemistry from the University of Bremen.
