Houda Beghoura

WP2 | UiB

Houda is a postdoctoral researcher at Geophysical Institute at University of Bergen and part of the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research, Norway. As biogeochemical oceanographer her main research interest has been understanding the reciprocal relationship between the cycling of resources in the ocean and the biological activity. She holds a PhD in physical and environmental oceanography (Université de Bretagne Occidentale, France) addressing the importance of iron source and form in influencing phytoplankton distribution using 3D numerical modeling. She then investigated the potential effects of ocean worldwide applied artificial reoxygenation on marine biogeochemical cycles.
