Jerry is a marine system modeler and head of the PML modelling group. Whilst dabbling in everything, he is particularly interested in the ocean’s carbonate system, climate impacts and Measurement, Monitoring and Verification for offshore energy installations and carbon capture and storage, and more recently carbon dioxide removal. Within OceanICU, Jerry and colleagues at PML are developing aspects of the ERSEM model including temperature responses, zooplankton behaviour, benthic ecosystems and the microbial carbon pump, assessing impacts on carbon cycles and delivering predictions of future scenarios.
